WHAT IT ISThe Play Club is where Boulder families land—to focus, to breathe, to actually talk to another adult who gets it. Your child is an arm’s length away, deeply engaged with real materials alongside Play Facilitators who know how to guide their curiosity. The space holds all of it at once.

Sound-paneled booths, conference rooms, coffee, and full sightlines into the play space. Work with clarity and focus—within a space designed to keep you connected, present, and at ease.
For children
A thoughtfully designed studio with open-ended materials, layered textures, and space for movement—supported by Play Facilitators who curate and evolve the environment throughout the day. Designed for children age 18 months through school-age, in a mixed-age, community-oriented setting.

The Play Club is built around the belief that everyone here deserves a real gathering place—not a playground, not a coffee shop, but somewhere that’s genuinely yours. Member events, shared rituals, and a children’s Mini Museum that treats their work like what it is: art.

Meet the Founding Family
Hey, I’m Julia—former preschool teacher, Boulder mom, and the founder of The Play Club.
I spent a decade in early childhood education before making a hard-earned pivot into tech sales. Five years in, I had the career I'd worked toward—and still felt like I was doing parenthood alone. The community I needed didn't exist. So I built it.
The Play Club is for every family that's ready to stop going it alone. A place to land, to connect, and to raise your kids alongside people who refuse to choose between providing for their family and being present for it. The village isn't gone—we're just building it back up, together.
